BEST DRIVE TO WORK EVER!

So here is what happened: I was party driving to work this morning, listening to the ultimate in mood reversal songs: Party Hard. Just about the time I was screaming:

‘Cos we will never listen to your rules (no)
We will never do as others do(no)
Know what we want and we get it from you
We do what we like and we like what we do

I see those flashing red and blue lights I have learned to accept as a price you pay for driving a white Ford Lustang. I pull over, turn off the car and wait for Bro-Cop. Once at my window Bro-Cop gives the standard script about why I was pulled over (64 in a 55) and asked “Why are you in such a hurry?”

At this point I was just honest. “Officer, I am driving to work and listening to some really party music.” Yes I said party music. The guy was younger and unless you are a girl, once those lights go on, you are not getting out of the ticket. What do you have to lose?!

Then Bro-Cop surprised me, “Is that Andrew WK?” He was looking at the screen on my iPhone which was on my lap. “Hell yeah it is, why do you think I was doing 9 over?”

Honest to God, Bro-Cop just laughs, steps back a bit, and says “Get out of here man, go to work and slow down.”

Stunned. Did I just party my way out of a ticket?! He walked away, I continued onto work and almost had to pull over due to the insta-drunk that hit me from all the posi-vibes I had just experienced.

Now I am at work, waiting for customers so I can give them free phones and pay this junk forward.
